Keroncong Festival Originated from Portuguese brought by freed slaves in the 16th century to Indonesia, Keroncong has transformed itself in a more modern way by the use of ukulele, flute, guitar, violin, and bass. To preserve the music, therefore, a festival of Keroncong is held by The Culture and Tourism Office Surabaya annually. |

Full Moon Festival The Chinese ethnics has never skipped this celebration on the 15th day of 8th month in Imlek Calendar. Some activities like moon cake festival, fireworks, Kim Sin parade, lantern festival, barongs show, and various dances will light up the festive celebration. |
